    We have a small, dynamic and youthful team in our Toronto office specifically focused on helping senior-level executives accelerate growth through C-suite alignment, customer journey mapping, organizational design and marketing transformation. Within our holistic framework, we guide our clients to help them make strategic decisions primarily in the area of marketing and sales, while also extending to other core areas of their business (e.g. organizational structure, culture and processes). We identify root causes, facilitate decision-making, create tactical plans, improve processes and recommend how results can be measured. Our experience spans a variety of industries and has included clients such as Samsung, Mercedes-Benz, 3M, HP, Johnson & Johnson, and P&G.


    Opportunity & Responsibilities

    You will be a part of a multi-disciplined consulting team working on a variety of clients and initiatives. Daggerwing is a horizontal organization – everyone plays an active role in meeting client needs regardless of the task. As a Consultant, you will have a shared responsibility to deliver superior services to both your client and your team. You may work on more than one project at once. Finally, you will be expected to support coaching opportunities for Associate members of the team and contributing to the company culture.

    A summary of responsibilities for this position:

    Strategy and Content Development

    • Contribute to the articulation of strategy in written and presentation formats
    • Assist in the coordination and preparation of major client meetings and deliverables – this includes overseeing that all the necessary work items are complete, produced and ready for client delivery
    • Support the development of client and internal deliverables, discussion documents and brainstorming sessions
    • Attend, transcribe or summarize and pull key insights from discovery interviews with client stakeholders (over the phone or in-person)

    Research, Analysis & Report Writing

    • Lead writing and developing background research on prospective clients and their industries to prepare management and consulting teams for new business proposals and pitches
    • Prepare 3rd party research summaries and background for the consulting team
    • Review client research to extract key findings, provide analysis and summarize insights
    • Compile, research and prepare insight reports for clients and internal team (e.g. industry and trend analysis, competitive audits, best practice research)

    Project and Account Management

    • Based on the project plan, lead identifying required tasks, interdependencies, resource constraints, red flags, and develop work back schedules
    • Act as the point person, working alongside Project leads including Principals, Managing Consultant and Senior Consultants to communicate project updates to client(s), arrange meetings and escalate any issues
    • Responsible for organization of all client assets and ensuring they are shared with the team and available for use
    • Liaise with Associates on day-to-day tasks and for support in project management (e.g. internal status development/management)

    Internal Communications and Consulting Team Support

    • Participate in internal brainstorming sessions with consulting team
    • Act as a creative liaison, responsible for coordinating with internal creative team on presentation and stimuli development
    • Assist consulting team during new business pitch development
    • Transcribe detailed internal and client meeting documentation, including recording minutes and distributing notes to the consulting team
    • Proof internal and client-facing documents for content accuracy, spelling, grammar, consistency and recommend changes and edits
    • Participate in and support internal events and planning committees 



    • Undergraduate degree in business or MBA
    • Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Has creative problem solving and conceptual thinking skills
    • Has strong analytical skills and is detailed oriented
    • Thrives in non-structured and flexible environments
    • Possesses project management skills and is interested in client and account management
    • Has a career interest in consulting

    • Proficient in MAC Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) - we are a MAC friendly environment
    • Comfortable with traveling internationally and has a valid passport
