    Daggerwing Health is seeking an Account Manager with a background in consumer pharmaceutical marketing to join our team in New York!

    About the Job

    As a collaborative member of a high-profile account team, they will be a day-to-day contact for all account activity, ranging from campaign development, print, digital, social, CRM and in-office tactics. Successful administration of creative and tactical projects within the highly structured and regulated environment of prescription drug marketing to consumers is required.

     

    The ideal candidate will be passionate about healthcare, dedicated to providing exceptional client service, and committed to contributing to a strong and positive team experience.

     

    This position will be based in New York and will require client related travel.

     

    • Based on approved project scope and schedule, work with senior account members to ensure all client deliverables are met on time and on budget
    • Contribute to building and maintaining strong, positive client relationships
    • Support junior account staff assigned to the business
    • Contribute to maintaining a positive team experience
    • Coordinate with creative/medical editorial teams to ensure approved product messaging and brand/client style guidelines are applied across all communications
    • Coordinate and participate in strategic and creative presentations
    • Responsible for status reports, meeting notes, contact reports, competitive monitoring documents and other client deliverables; ensure they are at the required agency level for quality and meet client standards
    • Responsible for keeping SOW Trackers up-to-date, monitoring OOPs and facilitating SOW Change Orders
    • Learn and master all proprietary agency and client systems, workflows, and processes related to day-to-day account management
    • Help manage completion of tactical plan documents/templates
    • Demonstrate proactive thinking by anticipating account needs
    • Gain working knowledge of assigned disease state categories and product/ franchise goals
    • Gain category and brand knowledge through participation in client and research meetings
    • Maintain on-going competitive monitoring and ensure client and partners are kept up-to-date on competitive landscape
    • Collaborate with account teams from other Omnicom companies who are working in a multi-agency team to support client brands/franchises
    • Coordinate with media agency and client production teams to ensure agency creative output is prepped appropriately for production
    • Support business development efforts as needed

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor degree from an accredited 4-year college/ university
    • 3+ years healthcare agency experience, preferably consumer, with direct client contact
    • Experience working with highly regulated pharmaceutical brands/categories, preferably in high-science categories like oncology or immunology but not required
    • Launch experience for at least one major pharmaceutical product, including OPDP submissions, is preferred but not required
    • Experience in DTC advertising (campaign development, print, and video)
    • Previous training and experience working with the systems/processes associated with regulatory/med/legal approval for pharma clients is preferred but not required
    • Proven ability to manage schedules and juggle priorities, all with a focus on meeting key deadlines within client budgets
    • Preferable experience working within a multi-agency team
    • Strong interpersonal, written communications and presentation skills
    • Direct client contact and experience working with external partners is required
    • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Ability to multi-task in a collaborative environment
